Just finished watching Dr Phil while doing my C++ (lets face it, Dr Phil isn't exactly something you need to give your 100% attention to get!) and they were discussing whether condoms should be given out in highschools or not.

Heh, reminds me of all the hundreds of mock debates in English classes ;).

Anyway I've always held the view that condoms should be available in schools. I say to people who claim that having condoms in highschool will promote sexual activity and that by teaching abstinence instead will erase these evil thoughts in teenagers' heads… stop being so naive!!!!!! Teenagers are teenagers and will do what teenagers do.

Welcome to the real world.

Why does the guy on the MyBudget ad say "…then we take the responsibility of paying all your biwls".

Just finished watching the Queen's official opening of the new extention of the Sydney Opera House. I think Channel 9's reporter on the scene said it right: that in the future Australia will become a republic, but for now the Queen is our head of state, she looked great and she put a lof of effort into coming in, so we should give her our support.

I'm a self-confessed Australian republican, but I admit seeing the Queen there was pretty cool, espcially seeing as she's touching 80 soon!

Once Prince Charles becomes king, I think that will be the right time to be a republic… King Charles of Australia? ARGH!

The Queen is here now for the Commonwealth Games, and according to the British media, the trip will be her last.

A smiling Queen Elizabeth II showed no sign of fatigue as she arrived in Australia for what some say will be the ageing monarch’s last overseas trip.

This week’s visit – to open the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne – is her 15th since the then newly-crowned Queen first visited Australia with her husband Prince Philip in 1954.

With the monarch turning 80 next month, British newspapers have speculated that she will hand over more of her duties to her eldest son, Prince Charles, including her travel.
