Every so often you read a blog post by someone that talks about an issue so close to you and using words you would have used that it’s not only spooky, but makes you think there’s a secret evil conspiracy going on. I accuse Josh Nunn of orchestrating such a conspiracy this evening with his latest blog post.

I stopped putting ads on my blog a few years ago and replaced it with a coffee button, and I’ve been blown away by people’s generosity. I think this model works great, if your readers like what you do they’ll support you, and from a purely business standpoint I’ve been able to buy more coffee with that little button than years of having Google ads here!
Once upon a time there was an obsessive blogger who didn’t have a very exciting live, so when something as silly as a number syncronicity occurred on his website he just had to tell everyone, even if they didn’t care! That’s right, it’s pointless milestone time!
After going public with his intentions to, Jonathan Schwartz has migrated his former Sun Microsystems blog posts over to a new home entitled "Things I couldn’t say…".
Some good news from the team we thought had disappeared off the face of the Earth. Good thing I would never let any of my own projects end up like this.
After a mysterious unexplained hiatus, we’re coming back. iPhone User News .com will be rebooting around the middle of next week. We’re coming back with daily dollops of news about Apple’s humble portable telephone.
We’ll also be launching a sister site all about that pad thing, in the near future.

I’m trialling a new wider version of my blog theme, and some clearer fonts for FLOSS OS users, let me know how terrible you think the changes are :). If you can’t see the difference, you may need to hold down [SHIFT] while reloading the page. I almost made a typo and wrote [SHIFT] as something else.
By sheer co-incidence I realised this beta blog theme is the same size as ZombieSkittles without the border. Creepy!
I reverted back to the same width I first starting blogging in back in 2004, but kept the new fonts for the FLOSS folk. Call me old fashioned. Or fickle.

For those of you playing at home, this is the 2400th post published on this here blog. Actually that’s a blatant lie, it was the previous one. It shows how spiffy I must have thought The Unarchiver was that I completely missed the fact it was the 24(*10^2) blog post. Spiffyness.
It seems I got that completely wrong, given the count is actually 2403 now. Please disragard this entire post. I need a cup of coffee.
According to the internal WordPress installation here, for some reason the the ID of this post is 5700 which you can confirm by going to the non-prettified address. What’s more stupendously amazing is 5700 is also the model number for a sophisticated piece of equipment, the Tennant 5700 Industrial-strength Walk-behind Scrubber. Read on if you dare!
