Looking for something fun to do this afternoon I decided to do this American Accent Quiz. According to the results, if I were an American with my current accent I would be from the Northeast.
As someone not hailing from the States I’m not sure what this all means, but it was fun anyway!
MadPlayer troubles (lagtime, eating batteries), trapped aliens, Japanese living forever, food culture ("Westerners" can’t take durian, "Asians" can’t take aged cheese), Ruben accents rant (Americans, Kiwis, Aussies, how the accents evolve so damned fast?) and what ever happened to Dr. Marvin Monroe from the Simpsons?

We finally have cable TV in Malaysia (CNN Asia Pacific, free to air TV in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia), Rubenerd Left Wing (American sugar-coated politics, liberation, democracy etc), Elke calling Ruben a dork, bagging out New Zealand accents (again!) and congratulations to the women of Kuwait for getting the vote!
