Apropos of nothing, my best experience of a McDonald’s (a regular one, not a McCafe) was when they were giving away a free coke glass with every “meal”, and I unwrapped the glass and poured my drink into the coke glass and drank from the glass it in the McDonald’s.
It tasted absolutely delicious.
I was in Moscow during a heatwave, it was the hottest it had been for 100 years – the whole USSR had been and gone and it had never been this hot! We used to go in McDonalds (there were 2 in Moscow then, probably more now) each day for air conditioning, fresh orange juice and milkshakes. I also drank so much russian blackcurrant juice my poo went black.
